The 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Electron Atlantic Coupe is quite possibly the most beautiful car of all time. Among its many unusual attributes, the Atlantic has riveted body seams. The reason is some Bugatti prototypes were made of magnesium alloys which were hard to weld. Though this car was ultimately constructed with aluminum, designer Jean Bugatti liked the rivets so much that he insisted on keeping them on the finished car.
Signed and Numbered by photographer Lucinda Lewis, these vintage prints from the 1980s are extremely limited and have sold at collectible auctions.
