Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 428 - Open Edition Print

Car Culture

During the 1960s, the Big Three automakers marketed two different product lines. On the one hand, they tried to sell the consumer on more economical, compact cars; but on the other hand, their fascination with horsepower grew unabated. Even the mass-marketed Pony Cars that trotted onto the scene had names evocative of speed, such as Mustang and Firebird. This 1968 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 428 was one of the fastest on the street.
